Perhaps you are planning a wedding?  First, CONGRATULATIONS!   There is truly nothing we love more in our musical experience than to work with couples to customize your wedding and reception music to your own personal tastes and ideas, so that you can put your unique stamp on creating an event that you and your guests will always remember with excitement, love, and nostalgia.   Music is a transformational part of such a special day.  Science has proven that music resides in a part of our brains that we will remember clearly, even when other parts of our memories eventually begin to fade, or when health issues impact our cognition.  So let Tea Cup Gin help you make the soundtrack of your wedding day truly unforgettable! 
We play many weddings every year, but each one is different because we work so closely with each and every couple to personalize musical details.  Here are some of the unique ways that Tea Cup Gin approaches helping you to create the perfect musical soundtrack for your wedding:
  • With stellar musicianship, we can play ALL phases of weddings, whether rehearsal dinners, the actual ceremony, and / or reception.
    • We can play wonderful classical music, religious selections, soft instrumentals and/or special requests for your ceremony.
    • We can customize reception set lists to different phases, for example jazz standards or soft pop and originals for the dinner hour, then moving to upbeat rock/pop numbers for after-dinner dancing into the night.
  • We will work closely with your wedding coordinator or family members to make sure the timings of music throughout the event go smoothly and keep the perfect mood. 
  • We can help to coordinate and emcee the event, to assist with making announcements, and organizing toasts by passing around the cordless mics. 
  • We play all styles and genres of music (jazz, rock, R&B, soul, pop, indie, blues, etc), and can learn any specific special songs you’d like to request that are not already on our lengthy song list (provided you give sufficient advance notice). We will work closely with you to develop the perfect set lists for your big day! 
  • For additional fees, we offer a very unique and special CUSTOM SONGWRITING service.  We will actually write a beautiful original song that you can give as a surprise engagement, wedding or anniversary gift for your beloved:❤️
    • We will introduce and perform this special song for you in person on your wedding day, or another time and place of your choosing.   
    • For clients choosing the above custom songwriting service, we can offer the option of creating a special high quality studio recording delivered on a nicely packaged CD (and in .mp3 download link).
    • We will also create a beautiful parchment style printed copy of the lyrics, including any words of introduction or dedication you wish to include in the package.
    • Note that the above custom songwriting option requires a minimum 60 day advance notice, and we will need an opportunity to brainstorm ideas with you for personalizing the theme and lyrics to reflect uniquely beautiful aspects of your relationship. 

Pricing / Budget for Weddings and Events

We are flexible and will work around your wedding or special event budget without breaking the bank. Our pricing varies depending on several variables including: 1) number of musical performers we bring (we can provide a duet all the way up to a 6+ piece full band); 2) length of time for our role in the event;  3) whether we bring and set up or own pro-level sound/PA system with sound engineer (unless you or your venue can provide the full PA and engineer); 4) distance of travel; 5) whether overnight accommodations will be needed; 6) whether you have special requests or additional needs (e.g., the custom songwriting option mentioned above).
